A.  The Lights of Silk Road, a painting and calligraphy exhibition, is the largest cultural exchange event of its kind between Shanghai and Gansu province. The exhibition features a collection of works representing the outstanding cultural heritage of Gansu province - including a 300-meter-long scroll that showcases masterpieces by 200 renowned painters and calligraphers.

B.  James Cohan Gallery, a New York-based contemporary art gallery, will launch its new Shanghai gallery with an exhibition titled Mining Nature. The show will examine the presence of the natural world in contemporary art as found in the works of such notable artists as Ingrid Calame, Yun-Fei Ji and Jeff Koons.
