Wuzhizhou Island, located 2.7 kilometers from Houhai village in Haitang Bay, faces the Nanwanhou Island and borders Yalong Bay. It is called "the first bay in the world. Wuzhizhou Island, originally called "Guqizhou", has an area of 1.48 square kilometers and resembles the shape of an irregular butterfly with a length of 1400 meters from the east to the west and a width of 1100 meters from north to south. The island is famous for its more than 2000 species of plants and trees such as the Dragontree.

The island is very easy to get to because of its convenient location next to the Eastern highway. There is also the largest hovership in the country, which carries 70 people at a time to the island.

The Wuzhizhou Island has a warm tropical climate that makes vacationing here ideal.

The land to the west and north, is relatively flat with soft white sandy beaches. The seawater there is extremely clear with a visibility of up to 27 meters. You can see many types of tropical sea life in the ocean. There are also coral reefs, which come in many different shapes on the sea bed. There are also many activities offered here such as diving. Other must-see attractions here are the Matsu Temple and the Guanri Cliff.
